To professionally test games, it is not enough to be fond of them. Before signing up for the course, you had better get the testing basics: what sphere it is, and why it is important for IT. It pays to know technical English for using QA tools more effectively.
The curriculum will help you learn a game structure and understand how you can have influence on improving user game experience for millions of gamers.

The course is for 6 weeks. Classes take place twice a week, on weekdays in the evening. You should have 2 academic hours spare for each class and provide time to complete home assignments – they may take from 4 to 30 academic hours depending on its complexity.
It would be great if you already know basic understand of testing. That is why we recommend working testers taking this course. You had better have vast gaming experience to be versed in what a quality game is.
You had better known English, but it is not a must. To work on foreign projects and feel at ease, you should have at minimum of B1 level of English. Surely, it is necessary to learn specific vocabulary about testing and development. That is why we are inviting you to join the course QA English Basics.
After completing video game tester training, you will get the skills enough to apply for a junior tester in games development.
They closely work with the development team and perform en-route and final game tests. They also write test scenarios, find defects, assess the quality of user experience, suggest enhancements. Thus, a tester can impact game success and its popularity among gamers.
You need technical competence: understanding the basic principles of testing, phases of game development, game structure and internal logic. You will also need skills in holding various types of testing (for example, stabilization testing or security testing) and writing reports based on various types of testing.
We founded this training center in 2013. At first, we prepared students to work for our head company – a1qa. Then with the growth of demand for training we started to teach testing to all those who wanted. Now we have more than 10,000 graduates from 20 + countries.
